A warm welcome

At the Gasthaus Oberkirn above Schenna, at an altitude of 1,450 m, you can enjoy a sunny and peaceful location with breathtaking views – from the Merano basin across the Vinschgau Valley all the way to the entrance of the Ulten Valley.

Right next to our house, you will find the Grube chairlift, which takes you up to the Hirzer hiking paradise at 1,800 m. The Verdins cable car, connecting us with the neighboring village, is also just nearby. In only a 15-minute walk, you can also reach the middle station of the Hirzer cable car.

Whether it is a relaxing walk, a bike tour, or a challenging mountain hike – our inn is the perfect starting point for your nature adventures.
